It's March, and outside it's uncomfortably cold and grey around here. Completely distracted, I've opened Instagram and find myself watching Stories — not really what I wanted to do. I take a sip of my apple tea, nearly burn my tongue, and wonder whether I should be drawing something instead. Making good use of the time, and all that. The first raindrops are now trickling down the windowpane.
Then, suddenly, a door opens — or rather, a post opens a door. A wake-up call that finally gave me the courage to reach out to a photographer I'd been following for some time.
Ping. A reply already. What started as a friendly back-and-forth quickly grew into a vision for the photo shoot. And so, before long, I was wrapping my new pieces — along with a few familiar ones — in tissue paper and sending the parcel on its way north.
